shelf and perching. I love this item and have had one in my home for a couple of years. I installed a couple of shelves above this unit to help my cats climb even higher to a landing area in my foyer that has a cathedral ceiling area. They absolutely love it. I will often catch my cats leaping at this climber and jumping two stairs at a time!
The only negatives associated with this products are 1) it has a strong odor when you take it out of the box and 2) the unit is noisy. I believe the odor is from the manufacturing or glue that is used – but simply air it out a few days and it is fine. With regard to the noise – I don’t have any advice here. My cats are really rough with this and it bangs against the door that it is hung on. Every time they leap at the door – it makes a loud “bang” that can be quite startling… but the cats are having fun – so that’s all that matters…right? Especially at 3am and they are leaping all over it…[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
